Hi, Missy! Found this blog through an art link (I love art) and, lo and behold, I found a Simnacher! My maiden name is Simnacher–I’m Maloy’s oldest daughter, granddaugher of Philip. Not sure how we’re connected, but there aren’t all that many Simnachers in America, so it’s a sure thing we’re linked somehow.
I’ve got to look up a recipe for this posole stuff you mention. Never had it, but I had my first raspberry chipotle sauce the other day—delicious!!

Me again. Just read one of your older posts, and I see that your husband is Gerald, and his aunt was Minnie. (Everyone says I favor Veronica & Minnie very strongly.) So my dad and your husband were cousins. Knew I’d figure it out eventually!
I just sent you an email, but thought I’d make sure you knew Gerald is the youngest son of your Uncle Frank and Aunt Ida .
